Our clients hired us to transform their poorly built (and frankly dangerous) build into something much safer, more comfortable, and convenient for their part-time travels.

They purchased this van in 2021 and lived in it on the road for a year. As first-time buyers in the vanlife lifestyle, they didn’t know what they needed or what to look for in a van. After being forced off the road due to uncomfortable conditions from their van not being set up for full-time living, they decided their van needed a severe makeover and called us for the job!

This Ford Transit van was originally built as a DIY project and had three previous owners, not including our clients. Each owner added to the build in ways they hoped would be efficient. However, it was clear they all needed more skills or experience to execute a full-time home on wheels safely. As we dug further into the build, we realized how bad and unsafe this van really was. The power system was a particularly scary part of the build that we were determined to clean up and make safe again. 

This van was not a full build for us, as our previous builds were, but more of a safety check and “edit” to change the layout and systems to better meet our client’s needs. A video of this renovation will be released in the coming weeks.
